Book Review of America’s First Female Serial Killer, Jane Toppan, and The Making of a Monster by Mary Kay McBrayer

While browsing at the local library, I saw this book, and the title had me very curious. I have heard of Jolly Jane Toppan, but the author did a wonderful job of painting her life. And how Jane came to be this monster. It kept on my toes, wondering what was  to happen next to her. But a small of me now wonders if her stories were just stories about her sister in paris, etc. Mary Kay showed what made Janne well, Jane. I would recommend it.

Book Review of Murder Your Employer  by Rupert Holmes

I have eyed up this book for a while before I got my hands on it. It pulls you in right away with how the author wrote it. You fall in love with characters of Cliff, gemma, and doria. The twists and turns of the story kept me on my toes! I wasn’t sure if each character was going to get their deletions, but i won’t reveal more without spoiling it. The author makes you think a little with this story, and im glad of that. It’s very much worth your time.

Book Review of The Bletchley Women By Patricia Adrian

The title of the book grabbed my attention right away. You can easily follow the story between both main characters, Rose and Evie. You fall in love with them both. The flow of the story is nice. You can easily see Rose, Evie, Lucy, Henry ( I didn’t like him), etc, and all the other characters. I would highly recommend this book.

Book Review of Howl’s Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones

I didn’t realize this was book since I have seen the movie several times. Once I did find out it was a book, I knew I had to read it. I won’t lie. I thought it would have been similar to the movie. Some aspects are the same, and the rest are different. But im glad it wasnt the same as the movie. In fact, it was better! You learn more about Sohpies and Micheals’ life! And a wizard/witch fight o man the images I had in my head while reading that chapter!!! I won’t spill too much more and ruin to for you. But definitely I would recommend this!

Book Review of Frida Kahlo An Illustrated Life by María Hesse, translate by Achy Obejas

I saw this book right when I walked into the library. And had to grab it right away. I like Frida Kahlo as an artist, her art work is very moving. Yes i have seen the movie with Selma Hayak several times as well. I found this was an interesting way to look at her life. Some of her life im already about but others i didnt. I like hows the shows her paintings in the book as well. They included the year she painted them, and some information about them as well which was very neat. I would recommened this book easily to anyone.
